(1) Tie off the rope 6 complete lays from the end | ||||

(2) Unlay the rope to the tied off point. | ||||

NOTE: work the knot in a counterclockwise direction as you look at the end of the rope. | ||||||

(3) Place the end of one of the unlayed strands under the strand to its left. (Hold the loop open as you work the knot). | ||||||
